The 5 Year entry waiver<\/h1>\n

A waiver\u00a0allows you to travel to the United States if you are otherwise inadmissible to the country. It acts like a pass\u009d that enables you to travel to the US for up to 6 months at a time during the period your waiver is valid for. The maximum validation period for a US Waiver is 5 years.

A valid waiver overrides US Border Guard authority, provided you are abiding by the law<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

 <\/p>\n

\nWaiver – Who needs one?<\/h2>\n

If you have a criminal record in Canada you are legally required to obtain a wavier for US entry. There are some exceptions, for example if you only have one DUI. Among other reasons, they are also required for the following:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • You’ve been deported<\/li>\n
  • Overstayed your welcome in the US<\/li>\n
  • Worked or lived illegally (without status) in the US<\/li>\n
  • Been refused entry in the past<\/li>\n
  • Found with drugs at the border<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    People obtain waivers for various reasons from employment requirements to vacations. Many travel destinations have layovers in the US, and not having a valid document can restrict your options.<\/p>\n

    Waiver – 5 years or 1<\/h2>\n

    Applying for a waiver can be a complicated process, which is why we’re here to help. Obtaining one takes on average 8-12 months from start to finish, including US processing time. We have a very high success rate, and it is unusual for an application to be denied. We are experts in the industry and are happy to answer any questions that you might have.<\/p>\n

    Waiver – 5 years or 1.<\/p>\n

    A waiver is valid from 1 to 5 years at a time. By hiring someone to prepare the waiver on your behalf, you’re ensuring that you are submitting the best possible application. Subsequently, you are increasing your chances of getting a waiver granted for the full possible 5 years. We are very thorough when preparing a file, and make sure that we include any\/all documentation that will benefit your application.<\/p>\n

    Waiver – What are my chances?<\/h2>\n

    They’re good. We have been seeing a large percentage of our clients obtaining 5 year waivers, even with their first submission. Our goal is to get you the longest possible waiver, and we do not see many applicants receiving a one year waiver unless serious and recent criminal behaviour is involved. While unfortunately there is no such thing as a permanent waiver, we strive to get you the next best thing.<\/p>\n
